Longleaf CCS Hub Launch Event

March 28, 2024

We’re thrilled to share highlights from our recent event at Tenaska’s Longleaf CCS Hub, a significant step forward in our journey toward sustainable business solutions.

Held at the GulfQuest National Maritime Museum in Mobile, our event saw a fantastic turnout from local stakeholders, including elected officials, business leaders, and esteemed guests. We were honored by the presence of representatives from the Mobile Chamber of Commerce and the endorsement from Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson’s office, emphasizing the vital role of carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies in both environmental stewardship and economic growth.

Photos from the event capture the excitement and energy shared by all attendees, reflecting the momentum behind our mission.

We’ve also had some great positive media coverage from the event. Check out the links below:

The Longleaf CCS Hub stands as a beacon for innovative solutions, poised to revolutionize emissions compliance and climate objectives in South Alabama. It offers a pathway for businesses to meet evolving environmental standards while fostering regional stability, growth, and employment opportunities.

Community involvement is paramount to our vision. That’s why we’ve appointed a local representative and established a project office in Mobile, ensuring that the Longleaf CCS Hub is developed collaboratively for the benefit of the entire community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the enthusiasm and support from our community and partners. For further insights and updates, visit our website at www.longleafccs.com.
